While becoming plant based/ vegan I increasingly wanted to find awesome spots to eat out at around the world. With My base being near London this is the nearest city with a wealth of food for me to try that made me fall in love with properly seasoned and flavoured vegan food. With over 100,000 people signing up for Veganary I thought the best way to celebrate the end of this month with a post on some of the best Vegan food I have found in London. I will do updated post on other places around the world as vegan/ plant based business are quickly growing in this changing climate.

Hackney Downs Vegan Market
This market is on every Saturday and a great place to munch on the latest ad most awesome Vegan food around. Not only are you sure to find serval things to make you eat until your belly bursts you are also sure to meet some awesome people just like you who are at different stages of their vegan journey. Highlights include:

Vegan burger bar in the heart of Camden Market. Located near the Camden Town Bridge, opposite entrance to Cookies and Scream.
You have a choice of three burgers; falafel burger, beetroot & quinoa burger and seitan schnitzel burger.
There’s a bench at the bar that can seat about 6 people. Or take your food inside to the area near Cookies and Scream.

What The Pitta
What the Pitta is becoming a well known stall/ restaurant within the London vegan community. They are known for their amazing Vegan kebabs. They also sell vegan baklava, Turkish Pizza, Salad Boxes. Eating here you are sure to have any hunger squashed and your appetite fully fed.

Rubys Of London
You can find this amazing stall at Greenwich Market every weekend. Here you can buy some really nice vegan cakes and patisseries, they also have gluten free options for you to dig your teeth into.

Holdron’s Arcade, 135a Rye Lane, London,
London’s first vegan bakery, well know for its cupcakes especially the Ambassador. They sell primarily vegan cakes and cupcakes, but also vegan sandwiches, ice cream, and tea. They have a small seating area in covered part of indoor market, or you can have a takeaway. They also sell other vegan snack foods

Club Mexicana is a vegan market stall located within Kerb Camden Market. Here you’ll find the very tasty Mexican food you didn’t know you needed in your life. They also provide gluten free options.
Some of the top picks here include:
BBQ-pulled jackfruit burrito stuffed with guacamole, shredded lettuce, pink pickled onions, salted chillies, sour ‘cream’, ancho chilli sauce, fresh lime and coriander.
Beer Battered Tofish Tacos served with chimichurri, pink onions, pickled chillies, sour cream and hot sauce.
They also have an outdoor communal seating nearby so you wont have to wait too long before you tuck into your meal of choice.

The Boiler House Food Hall/ Vegan Nights
The Boiler House is located at 152 Brick Lane, but there’s no signage on Brick Lane to tell you its there. So it’s not the easiest place to find, but it’s well worth searching for, as you’re likely to find inside a treasurehouse of vegan goodies
